A New Steganalysis Algorithm for Steganography in JPEGs

隐匿技术指把要传递的重要信息隐藏到载体中,使其不易被察觉。因为JPEG是现在使用最多的图像格式,所以经常用JPEG图像作为隐藏的载体。在综合分析了现有隐写分析技术的基础上,提出了一种全新的针对JPEG隐匿图像的通用隐写分析方法。该方法基于对DCT系数差分直方图的分析,根据JPEG图像切割前后DCT差分直方图的变化情况进行检测。与现有隐写分析技术比较,该方法对JPEG隐匿图像的检测准确率高,且具有通用性,实现简单。

Steganography is used to hide the occurrence of communication and steganalysis is the investigation of hidden information.As JPEG format is currently the most common format for storing image data,JPEG images are very useful carriers for data hiding.After analyzing current steganalysis methods,a new approach to general detection of steganography in JPEG images is proposed.Based on the observation of difference between difference histogram of DCT coefficients,the method is able to detect all familiar steganographic techniques reliably.The algorithm is easy to be put into practice.
