In this paper, the development trend and general research situation at home and abroad on the performance of send－inorganic paint for silicon steel sheet are reviewed. The influence of water－soluble matrix and oil－soluble matrix on the properties of seaal－inorganic paint for silicon steel sheet is analyzed, the effects and action of the kind of inorganic filler,particle size and surface modification are also discussed.
