New Process of Hydrogen Sulfide Removal and Sulfur Recovery with Heteropoly Acid

摘要 对几种不同种类和来源的杂多酸进行了实验筛选,对杂多酸溶液的氧化还原电位进行了实验测定。研究表明,杂多酸脱硫在热力学上是可行的,但实际过程中单一的杂多酸体系再生过程非常缓慢,难以实用;钒类化合物能够加速杂多酸的再生,两种钒类化合物对再生过程的催化性能相近。在实验条件下,HPA分子中的Mo(Ⅵ)至少会转变为Mo(Ⅳ),很大可能会转变为Mo(Ⅲ)。 The heteropoly acids (HPA) of different kinds and sources as hydrogen sulfide removal, were evaluated. The thermodynamic feasibility of removing hydrogen sulfide by using HPA was tested through comparison of the measured redox potential with that of S/H 2S and O 2/H 2O. It was found that the redox potential of HPA was well between these two. Thus the above process is feasible from the theoretical point of view. But the actual process using HPA only was inapplicable due to its rather low regeneration rate. Vanadate was tested to be an effect catalyst in promoting HPA regeneration by the air and also in coabsorbing H 2S. The two kinds of vandate makes no difference in fact. It was concluded that atom Mo(Ⅵ) from HPA molecular was reduced at least to Mo(Ⅳ) and that it is most likely to be reduced to Mo(Ⅲ) under the experimental condition.
