从译者主体性看多元系统论的局限性

On Limitations of Polysystem Theory from Aspect of Translator's Subjectivity

多元系统论虽然促进了翻译研究的文化转向,开拓了翻译研究的领域,但也有其局限性,即译者主体性的缺失。中国清朝末年三位重要翻译家,从翻译选材、翻译策略和叙事手法三方面的翻译实践活动,说明了译者主体性对翻译的作用。

Although polysystem theory promotes the cultural turn of translation studies and expands new approaches to translation studies,it ignores the effect of translator＇s subjectivity to the translation.This paper discusses the influence on the selection of source text,strategies and narrative methods by subjectivity of translator through the translation practices of three outstanding translators in the later Qing Dynasty.
