During alumina production,large quantities of wastewater is produced,resulting in serious pollution to the environment and deteriorating freshwater resources.To achieve the 'zero' drainage,the source,water quality,treatment measures and management for recycling and saving of waste water are elaborated in the paper.Considerable ecnonmic benefits have been obtained and aviolding eaviromantle.
