Researches on the History of the Six Dynasties over the Past Sixty Years:A Retrospect and Prospect

建国60年来的六朝史研究,经历了一个曲折发展的过程:建国初17年中,六朝史研究取得了重要的成绩,奠定了后来六朝史研究的基本格局;在文革时期,六朝史研究陷于停顿;改革开放以来,六朝史研究在组织形式、学术活动、成果出版、研究领域拓展、思想解放程度等众多方面,都进入了空前繁荣时期,但同时也存在研究课题散碎,理论分析欠缺、学风急功浮躁等诸多不足。应坚持行之有效的研究理论、方法、手段和目标,在此基础上开拓创新,深化研究。

The research on the history of the Six Dynasties has witnessed a lot of twists and turns since 1949.Over the 17 year period from 1949 to 1966,we made substantial achievements and laid a solid foundation for the subsequent studies.During the Cultural Revolution,the study of the history of the Six Dynasties was interrupted and fell into stagnation.Since the reform and opening up,the research in this field has entered a period of unprecedented prosperity in terms of the construction of research team,the organization of academic activities,the publications of research results,the expansion of research topics,and the liberation of the mind.But some deficiencies do exist,such as：there is a lack of focus in setting research topics,a lack of theoretical construction in analyses,and a lack of rigor and patience in doing researches.Therefore,we should continue to stick to the effective theories,methods,approaches and feasible targets,hoping to further our studies on the history of the Six Dynasties.
