本文介绍了加拿大ＳｉｍｏｎＦｒａｓｅｒ大学开发的商品化数据仓库与数据采掘系统ＤＢＭｉｎｅｒ。在介绍ＤＢＭｉｎｅｒ的主要功能和特点的同时，介绍了数据采掘和知识发现的基本概念和主要方法。还分析了ＤＢＭｉｎｅｒ的成功与不足。

This paper introduces the data warehouse and data mining system DBMiner developed by Simon Fraser Uiversity. While describing the main functions and features, it also introduces the basic concepts and main methods in Data Mining as well as the positive and negative aspects of DBMiner.
