摘要 无线mesh网络是从移动Adhoc网络中分离出来的新型宽带无线多跳网络架构,能够灵活地提高网络覆盖率和增加网络容量,适合作为宽带无线接入骨干网。IEEE成立的802.11s任务组负责802.11ESS架构的mesh扩展,由于许多关键技术的研究尚未成熟,严重影响了802.11s标准的制定进度。为便于了解802.11s标准,全面地论述802.11s涉及的关键技术,并且从网络性能的角度指出802.11smesh的不足以及面临的挑战。 Wireless mesh network is a new wireless multi-hop networking which evolves from ad hoc network and has the advantages of more coverage and more capacity,so it suits for wireless access backbone.802.11s task group,formed by IEEE, is responsible for mesh expansion of 802.11 ESS structure.For many key technologies are immature,it severely impacts the development of 802.11s standard.For better understanding the research and development, this paper across-the-broad relates the key technologies in 802.1is.According to aspect of the performance,shortcoming and challenge of 802.11s mesh network are pointed out.
