试论晚清白话文——兼谈与“五四”白话文运动的关系

On the Late Qing Vernacular and Its Relationship with the May 4th Vernacular Movement

白话文在晚清时期取得了较大的发展,使"白话"及"白话文"观念得以普及,并以"独立"的身份与文言文并行存在。但尚未发生任何动摇文言文正统地位的决定性变化。它与五四时期的白话文运动是一种风与火的关系,火借风之力,风助火一臂之力,最终形成一种规模宏大、影响深远的白话文运动。

The vernacular, in the late Qing period has achieved greater development, so that vernacular and Vernacular concept were very popular.
