摘要 The free energy and the density profile of a hard disk liquid system under gravity axe calculated by using the dimensional crossover of Rosenfeld hard sphere (3D) functional as well as the functional constructed from the scaled-particle theory which is considered to be very accurate. The two methods give the consistent results for a wide range of packing fractions.
