对我国新生代农民工市民化问题的几点思考

On the Issue of the New Peasant Workers' Citizenization

2010年中央一号文件对农民工问题非常重视,特别提出要解决好新生代农民工的问题。当前形势下,新生代农民工最大的问题是如何让其市民化的问题。因此,必须充分认识解决农民工特别是新生代农民工市民化问题的重大意义,充分认识影响新生代农民工市民化的制约因素,在此基础上尽快制定和完善促进新生代农民工市民化的各项制度和政策措施。

This year＇s Document No. 1 of the central government attached great importance to the issue of peasant workers and highlighted the importance of resolving issues concerning new peasant workers. At present,the biggest problem is how to transform them into city citizens. Therefore,it is important to understand the significance of solving the issue of new peasant workers＇citizenization and the factors restricting the citizenization of new peasant workers. On this basis,various public institutions should be develop and policies and measures be made to promote the cause of new peasant workers＇citizenization.
