摘要
威廉·福克纳的短篇小说《献给艾米莉的玫瑰》讲述了一个发人深省的哥特式的爱情故事,本文试图从女性主义文学角度分析主人公艾米丽作为女性的心路历程,来阐释处于传统男权社会的文化樊篱中,女性自我追求的悲剧的不可避免。
＂A Rose for Emily＂, a short fiction of William Faulkner narrates an inspiring gothic love story. This paper, from the angle of feminism, attempts to analyses Emily＇s mental course, and interpret the evitable tragedy of women＇s self-seeking in traditional man dominated society and cultural barriers.
