The ancient Chinese writers of fiction had a good understanding of the dialectical relationship between virtuality and authenticity,reality and illusion.Many famous novelists were experts at utilizing the narrative method of alternating imagination with reality,fact with invention,while quite a few literary critiques could offer accurate and objective comments and criticism with their profound comprehension of the dialectical relationship of the two.
