Even since the publishing of Robert Frost＇s ＂Mending Wall＂, opinions vary widely on the uncertain theme of the poem, the contradictions between the narrator and the neighbor, and the conflict between the behavior and thought of the narrator. Based on the methodology of binary opposition, this paper makes a detailed analysis of the conflicts between ＂mending wall＂ and ＂tearing down walls＂, between the traditional thought and modern concept, and between the behavior and psychology of the narrator.
