The boiler type of the Huadian Xinxiang Baoshan Power Plant and the coal quality analysis of the check coal were introduced. Combining with the features of the pulverized coal system and the burners,considering the investment,the operation and maintenance level of the power plant,the matching of the equipments and the coal supply sources,comparing the characteristics and the suitable conditions of the different mills,a conclusion was obtained that the double-ended ball mill is more safe selection for the Baoshan Power Plant.
