摘要
巨型机并行设计环境是巨型机工程设计自动化的发展趋势,它能有机地集成多领域CAD工具,统一管理数据,统筹安排设计人员协同完成巨型机工程设计任务.本文介绍的设计描述模型是建立此类设计环境的基础.
The engineering design of supercomputer is the system engineering, which involves high coordination and cooperation among global architecture design, configuration management, design methods, process and data management. The comparatively isolated design process among these aspects hinders fast time to market for the computer. In order to reduce the time to market and stay competitive, the concept of the parallel design environment of super computer is presented and the design environment is considered as the trend of design automation. The design environment contains not only the CAD tools application, but also the management in all the design activities and their data, where the description model is the base of the environment. By using the graphic theorem, a description model for the super computer is presented in this paper. It can describe the global architecture design, configuration management, design methods, and process and date management of the super computer during its engineering design cycle. Based on the model, a design environment is established. And it contains product design and modeling, data management, design method and process management, project management and CAD toolbox. The environment is used in the our own computer engineering design.
