Mr.CAO Bing-zhang’s clinical experience

曹炳章先生,为一代医药大家,编纂《中国医学大成》等。学验俱富,博采众长,师古而不泥。认为"古人随证以立方,非立方以待病"。指出:"只有板方,没有板病",达到临证方遣用药全在随机应变,方能中的。遇危重急证,往往能独具慧眼,使病人转危为安;逢疑难杂病,每每能另辟蹊径,使之柳暗花明,绝处逢生。舌诊研究融会新知,中成药用圆机法活,治痰病更胜一筹,疗疾注重预防护理。

Mr.Cao Bingzhang,a master of TCM,compiled the ‘China Cheng Xue Da Cheng’ and so on.He is well experienced,absorbing the advanced techniques of others.He holds that to make out a prescription according to the syndromes other than the diseases.He argues that prescriptions are maintained,but disease varies. However,we should adopt the prescriptions according to the different syndromes.Thus,when patients are in critical moment or are very ill,syndrome differentiation always brings him through.He gets his own experience in examination of tongue and is good at phlegm syndrome therapy.What’s more, prevention and careful nursing are attached more importance.
