This paper puts emphasis on modern teaching model called ＂Treat listening speaking as the main target,treat reading writing as foundation and treat multimedia as assistance＂ with respect to analysis and demonstration of related existing condition analysis,basic definition and theoretical foundation,specific practices options and precautions of this modern teaching model for teachers,which aims to effectively work out.Not only hot potatoes in the teaching and reform of college English,but really enhance students＇ English communicative competence and language comprehensive qualities.
