摘要
本文以词典学的用法理论为基础,对常用英语通用词典中的用法说明进行系统地梳理与归纳,并探讨了利用英语词典中的用法说明信息进行英语实体教学的必要性与可行性。
This paper is a preliminary typological study of usage indication in English dictionaries.Based on the lexicographical theory of usage,the paper systematically combs and summarizes the devices of usage indication.It also points out the necessity and feasibility of utilizing such information in EFL teaching and puts forward some ways as sample practice.
