By using pulse optical source as the solar simulator, the measurement method of relative spectral response for photovoltaic cells is studied. Lock in amplifier and chopper can be canceled in the measurement setup of sepctral response. The setup is simple and reliable. It can provide a tool for engineering measurements of parameters for photovoltaic cells.
