Research on Spatial Characteristics of Qianzhou Old Town in Hunan Province： A Combination of Hill, Water and City

该文结合乾州古城区位环境、军事、经济和文化背景等因素，分析了湖南省乾州古城的选址布局、城市空间形态、街巷空间及其建筑的类型和建构特色等，对研究湘西地区地域建筑提供可借鉴的思路。

Based on the analysis of many factors, such as sit- uation geographical, the natural environment, the background of military affairs, economy and culture, this thesis analyzes Qianzhou Town＇s overall layout, the urban spatial form, the street structure and the architecture features of the historic city. It＇s representative of studying the local region construction of the western Hunan province.
