Activity-based approach for urban travel behavior research

梳理城市交通工程及规划、城市地理学和城市规划学以及行为地理学和时间地理学等学科关于城市交通出行行为的研究方法及趋势,阐述活动分析法成为城市交通出行行为研究方法之前沿的原因。从相关理论方法和实证研究这两方面,对活动分析法进行全面介绍与评述,提出基于活动分析法的城市交通出行行为研究框架。

Related theories and trends about the topic of travel behavior in different disciplines,such as urban transportation engineering and planning,urban geography and urban planning are first reviewed. In particular,it introduces the development of behavior geography and time geography,and summarizes their contribution to make activity-based approach as the front edge of theories to analyze travel behavior. Then,related theory and empirical research of western countries are both introduced here,and it is apparent that all studies should be brought into a more comprehensive and micro activity analysis to achieve their study aims. A research framework for travel behavior associated activity-based approach is also provided,along with suggestions for future research,which means that multi-discipline system construction and forecast application are two main trends of future development.
