摘要
王跃文官场小说《国画》是一部承接鲁迅国民性批判精神的力作;作品中主人公朱怀镜貌似堂皇的种种"官场智慧"中,隐伏的是严重的国民劣根性,这一灰色官员形象的塑造,集中体现了作者对国民性的批判;在中国当代文学国民性批判主题日渐被悬置的背景下,《国画》的国民性批判主题具有不可忽视的意义。
Officialdom novel Chinese Painting is a national character criticism masterpiece which carries on the crit- ical spirit of Lu Xun. In the no vel, protagonist Zhu Huaijing has various official intelligence , actually he embodies a serious negative national character. The gray image expresses the author＇ s national character criticism. When China contemporary literature suspends the theme of national character criticism, the significance of Chinese Painting can not be neglected.
