文化本质论

Exploration of the Essence of Culture

对于文化本质的探讨,从横向来看,文化具有人造性、民族性、系统性、规范性和时代性五大属性,其中,人造性是文化的本质属性;从纵向来看,学者们经历这样一个圆圈:由文化外延的探索到文化内涵的探索,再到文化文化内涵与文化外延相统一的探索。因此,文化的本质就是人的活动及其成果。

Seen from the horizontal aspect,culture has five characteristics：artificial,nationalistic,systemic,normative and epochal.Among them,artificiality is the intrinsic quality of culture.Seen from the vertical aspect,scholars have experienced such a circle：from the exploration of the extension of culture to that of its connotation,and then back to the exploration of their unity.So,the essence of culture lies in its artificiality,which is the activity and achievement of mankind.
