我国是统一的多民族国家。民族问题始终是事关革命和建设全局的重大问题,是构建和谐社会必须处理好的一个重大问题。民族问题对于构建和谐社会的重要性在于:加快民族发展能够打牢构建和谐社会的物质基础;和谐的民族关系是构建和谐社会的前提和基础;反分裂斗争是构建和谐社会的政治保障。解决好民族问题,必须从发展、党的民族政策和反对分裂这几方面考虑。

China is a unified multi-ethnic country.The national issue has always been a major problem,it relates to the overall situation of the revolution and construction.It is also a significant issue that building a harmonious society must address it well.The importance of the national issue for building a harmonious society is that ： To accelerate national development is able to lay a solid material foundation for building a harmonious society;Harmonious ethnic relations is the prerequisite and base of building a harmonious society;Anti-separatist struggle are political safeguards of building a harmonious society.To solve the national issue,we must considerate the development,the Party＇s ethnic policy and fighting against separatism.
