摘要
介绍了一种基于S3C2416和S1D13521的电子纸阅读器的设计方案;介绍了当前最新的一种显示技术———电子纸显示技术,该技术的核心在于电子纸显示控制器,该设计以EPSON公司的S1D13521为电子纸显示控制器;结合S1D13521的特性介绍了电子纸显示控制器的原理;设计了S1D13521与S3C2416、SDRAM、Flash、温度传感器等设备的接口电路;最后分析了S1D13521的命令时序以及驱动程序的设计方法;该设计方案经验证,可以达到传统纸张的呈现效果,非常适合人们的阅读习惯。该电子纸阅读器设计方案已成功应用于某款电子书产品,给读者带来良好的阅读体验。
Introduces the design of electronic paper reader based on S3C2416 &S1D13521. The uptodate display technology--electronic paper display is introduced. The key o[ the technology is the electronic paper display (EPD) controller. This design use the S1D13521 chip as the EPD controller , the paper introduce the principle of EPD with the character of S1D13521, and design the interface circuit between the S1D13521 and the other chips, such as s3C2416, SDRAM, flash memory and temperature sensor. The paper analyze the commands time of S1D13521, the driver is mentioned, too. It has been tested that this design can attain the display effect as traditional paper, and is suitable for people' s reading custom. This design has been used in an electronic ink book, and bring the user favourable read--feeling.
