摘要
自由诗已经正式存在了一个多世纪了,可能是如今世界上最流行的一种诗歌类型,可是有关自由诗的理论至今仍未臻成熟或完善,甚至其定义都还不甚明确,而这又是自由诗的特性所决定的。本文试图通过考察自由诗的起源、发展和特点,揭示其本质,并进而对它加以界定。
One of the most popular verse modes in the world,free verse has been existing officially for over a century. Nevertheless,theories on free verse are still far from perfection or even maturity; even its definition is yet indefinite,and that is determined by the characteristics of free verse proper. This article attempts to reveal its nature and define it by surveying the origin,evolution and characteristics of free verse.
