在苏美冷战和东西方对抗时期,双方都实施了极具目的性的政治宣传,体现了双方极强的政治立场和意识形态。"敌人形象"是苏美双方进行"文化冷战"、"文化外交"和"信息心理战"的重要手段。苏联共产党和政府运用"敌人形象"的特殊影响,以全国政治总动员的方式对抗美国和西方的文化和政治压力,借以整合和唤起苏联公民的"苏维埃爱国主义"意识。"美国帝国主义"是苏联努力塑造的外部"敌人形象"的核心,并在塑造过程中注入了一些非理性的色彩。
In the period of Cold War and West-East confrontation, both sides enforced political propaganda with strong purposes, which embodies political stands and ideological confrontation. "Image of enemy" is an important method of "cultural cold war" ,"cultural diplomacy" and "information psychological warfare" used by U.S. and Soviet Union. Communist Party and the government of the Soviet Union used the special influence of "image of enemy" ,mobilized the whole country to fight against the cultural and political pressure from the U. S. and the West,by which integrated and evoked "Soviet patriotism" in soviet citizens. "American imperialism", with some irrational and subjective conjecture, is the core of "image of enemy".
