The paper introduces the background of global energy development strategy nowadays,systematically considers the energy strategy in China,and describes the key points of energy development in the Twelfth Five-year Plan.According to the author,green production and clean utilization in coal industry should be enhanced in the Twelfth Five-year Plan period, development of natural gas should be accelerated,construction of hydroelectric and nuclear power should be intensified,and revocable energy should be promoted.
