摘要
记述了采自我国云南省会泽县以礼河金钟镇毛家村水库(属长江上游金沙江下游江段南侧的一个支流)野鲮亚科1新属1新种:原鲮属Protolabeo Zhang,Zhao et An,gen.nov.,模式种:原鲮Protolabeo protolabeo Zhang,Zhao et Liu,sp.nov.。新属不同于野鲮亚科已知属的主要分类特征在于,1)其吻皮向下仅略包挡下唇和下颌中央部分,表面光滑;2)上唇与上颌略显分化,或分化的不够完全;3)下唇与下颌仅在下颏中部分离出一浅沟,近两侧口角处的下颌和下唇尚未分化;4)唇后沟短小,仅限于口角处。新属现知仅分布于我国云南省会泽县以礼河。
A new Labeonine genus, Protolabeo, was described based on the specimens from the Yilihe River, a small tributary of upper Changjiang River drainage in Yunnan Province, Southwest China. It can be distinguished from all other known genera of the Labeoninae by having only middle of the upper jaw＋upper lip covered incompletely by rostral fold, the surface of rostral fold flat; the primary disintegration between upper lip and upper jaw, and lower lip and lower jaw. The new species, P. protolabeo, differs from all known species in Labeonini by having generic characteristics.
