清末民初福州地方社会势力与政治变迁

Local Social Forces and Political Vicissitude in Fuzhou in Late Qing Dynasty and the Early Period of Republic of China

清末民初是中国社会发生急剧变化的时期。在这一时期,福州地方权力场上有社团、谘议局、官僚集团以及军人等不同的社会势力,他们的斗争与重组,影响着地方政治秩序的发展与变迁,地方权力体系从意识形态的权力演变成政治与军事权力的混合体,接着又演变为军事权力。权力主体在更替,权威在丧失,社会整合在这一时期是失败的。

The society in China changed greatly in the period of late Qing dynasty and the early period of Republic of China,in which there existed different local forces struggling for power in the city of Fuzhou, such as different societies, provincial assembly, bureaucratic groups and soldiers and so on, whose conflicts and reorganization influenced the devel- opment and vicissitudes of local political order. The local power system evolved from the ideological power to a mixture of political and military one,and then changed into the military power. In such a process, the power subjects were changing,which weakened the authority. As a result, the integration of the society was doomed to be a failure in this period.
