摘要
The constructions and utilizations of burials should be corresponding to the processes of burying. Such processes, nevertheless, from early funeral relics were hard to identify due to the lacking of taphonomical evidence. Based on the example the from Mogou cemetery dating to the Qijia Culture period in Lintan county,Gansu Province, this paper discusses some new methods of excavation in an effort to derive such evidence and to understand empirical knowledge from the fields; therefore, new discoveries may have been identified and archaeologists can find new ways to prevent sticking to out-dated excavation techniques. The author also introduces some methods and procedures in fieldworks which should be given priority.
