略论三峡地区六朝隋唐墓所见的多人葬习俗

Discussion of Mortuary Practice of Burying Multi-Occupants from the Six Dynasties to the Sui-Tang Dynasties in Three Gorges District

本文以三峡地区发现的23例六朝至隋唐时期的多人埋葬墓为研究对象,论述了其分期和多人埋葬特点,并结合相关文献对这种葬俗的性质进行了分析。研究指出多人、多次、分层次、多时期葬死者于一室是三峡地区六朝隋唐墓葬的重要特点,它也一定程度地反映了"蛮人"与"夏人"葬俗的差别。

Based on 23 typical multi-occupants burials dated from the Six-Dynasties to Sui-Tang Dynasties periods in the Three Gorges District, this paper systematically discusses the chronology and idiosyneracy of this kind of burying pratices. Moreover, it analyzes the nature of such mortuary practice in conjunction with textual records. The author concludes that this practice of burying multiple-dead by multiple-times in different layers and periods represents one significant mortuary characteristic during the Six-Dynasties and Sui-Tang Dynasty periods in the Three Gorges District. To a certain extent, it also reflects the differences between ＇man ＇ （indigeamus） and ＇xia ren ＇ （Han people） in terms of their mortuary customs.
