摘要
雅思口语测试不仅是对考生本身语言水平的测试更是对考生跨文化交际能力的测试。本文根据Ruben提出的有效交际的七个要素．阐述在雅思口语考试的各个环节如何通过培养跨文化交际能力从而提高雅思口语考试成绩。
IELTS speaking test is more a test on the candidates＇ intercultural communication competence than a test on language itself. According to Ruben＇s seven ingredients of effective communication, this article explores how to improve IELTS speaking score by improving intercultural communication competence.
