Dynamically Extending Function of System Call in UNIX

对ＵＮＩＸ系统调用的关键环节进行了详细讨论，并阐述了系统重构及核心信息获取的方法。在此基础上提出了扩充ＵＮＩＸ系统调用功能的新方法－动态扩充法，并给出了动态扩充法的实现技术，最后将动态扩充法与传统的静态扩充法进行了对比，以说明其优点和在工程中的意义。

This paper discusses the major parts in detail for system call in UNIX, and then describes the method of system reconstruction and obtaining kernel information. Based on this, we propose a new ap- proach to extend function ofsystem call in UNIX, - dynamic extension, and give corresponding implemen- tation technique. At last, we compare the dynamic extension with static extensions to show its advantages and engineering s igni ficance .
