The dissertation reviews the value chain of Porter and Kaplan and process classification based on the value chain.It describes the trends of value chain and process classification as follows：the attention shift from stockholder value to customer value,the suggestion from classification of activity to process,the classification from general to flexible process,the technology process change from supporting process to basic process.Conclusions and suggestions are made at the end of the paper.
