Four different processes for copper tube production are introduced. They are low ratio extrusion-cold rolling-drawing, high ratio extrusion-drawing, transverse rolling/piersing-cold rolling-drawing and continuous casting-cold rolling-drawing, respectively. The features of the four different processes and the copper tube types most suitable for them toproduce are described.
