介绍了中钢公司高速线材厂步进炉的技术性能和特点，由于制定了合理的工艺制度，并采用新型材料，先进液压电气系统和炉头端墙结构等，加热炉基本实现了高效率、高炉龄、低消耗、低烧损。
The technology performance and characteristics of walking-beam reheating furnace in High Speed Wire Plant in China International Iron and Steel Products Co., Ltd are introduced. The reheating furnace possesses high efficiency, long compaign, low consumption and burning loss after using the reasonable operating rules, new material, advanced hydraulic electric system etc.
