There is no doubt that the United States has superiority in the field of virtual reality technology.Several government departments have been funding on the research and development of this technology,a surge of research and application into the technology has been found among large enterprises,universities and scientific research institutes.In addition,they are carrying out a set of proper and effective science and technology policy.This article intends to provide some references for the development of relevant technology in China with a focus on the development status of the virtual reality technology and an good explanation on the policy and act of the technology concerned in US.
