High-frequency protection channel is the main components of the main protection of high voltage lines high- frequency protection in power system.This paper describes the present operation and maintenance status of high-frequency protection channel, analyzes the causes of the fault phenomenon of high-frequency protection channel on the grounds of the main structures and principle of high-frequency protectin channel, and proposes the methods of examining and dealing with the faults skillfully and preventing the faults from happening in high-frequency protection channel and suggestions about the management of high-frequency protection channel.
