思想政治工作既是一门专业,也是一门科学。在新的历史时期,要做好思想政治工作就必须"以人为本",紧紧围绕"发展"这一第一要务,以经济建设为中心,扎扎实实做好人的工作。必须坚持转变"服务"观念,提升思想政治工作的服务意识;必须坚持正确理论灌输,促进人们思想观念的更新与转变;必须坚持以人为本,把解决思想问题与解决实际问题相结合;必须坚持服务与改革相结合,切实做好思想观念的导向工作;必须提高职工综合素质,增强对社会主义市场经济的适应能力。只有不断的加强思想政治工作,做好"五个必须",才能为进一步推进改革开放和现代化建设进程,加快和谐社会建设步伐,提供强大的精神动力和思想保证。

Ideological and political work is not only a specialty,but also a science.In the new historical period,in order to do the ideological and political work well, we should be human -oriented, tightly around the important affair of development, and place the economical construction as the centre, and do the work of personnel actually.We must stick to alter the concept of service and raise the awareness of service about ideological and political work;we must stick to inculcate theory correctly and promote the updates and changes of people＇s ideas;we must stick to be human-oriented and combine the solution of ideological problems and practical problems ; we must stick to combine the service and the reform and earnestly work out the guidance of ideological concept; we must improve the comprehensive quality of works and enhance their adaptability to the socialist market economy.We have to strengthen the ideological and political work and do the five musts well.Only through these can we provide strong spiritual power and ideological guarantee for further accelerating the process of reform and opening and the construction of modernization and speeding up the steps of building a harmonious society.
