In this article,the principle and solution of call drop in cdma2000 1x EV-DO system have been introduced based on its technical characteristics.The author firstly analyses the mechanism of forward and reverse link call drop and the optimization methods,and discusses the differences between cdma2000 1x EV-DO system and cdma2000 1x system.Then,several important call drop timers for resolving the problems have been introduced.
