某学报中论著统计分析应用缺陷分析

Analysis of Statistical Deficiencies in Original Articles of an Academic Journal

目的了解某省属大学学报论著中统计分析的应用缺陷状况。方法对该刊1999-2007年刊载的论著320篇进行了统计学分析。结果 320篇论著中总的统计分析应用缺陷率为53.1%,其中统计描述应用缺陷率平均为15.6%,统计推断应用缺陷率平均为51.2%。6种统计推断缺陷类型所占比例分别为7.3%、54.3%、1.2%、3.1%、17.7%和6.7%,其中统计推断方法与设计类型不符合居首位。从1999-2007年逐年下降。结论该刊1999-2007年刊载的论著中统计分析应用缺陷率逐年下降,但高于核心期刊,作者和编者应高度关注常见的统计分析缺陷。

Objective To investigate the status of statistical deficiencies in the original articles of an academic journal.Methods Totally 320 original articles published in an academic journal during the period of 1999～2007 were statistically analyzed.Results The total incidence rate of statistical deficiencies was 53.1%.The average incidence rate of descriptive statistical deficiencies was 15.6%,and the average incidence rate of inferential statistical deficiencies was 51.2%.The percentages of 6 inferential statistical deficiencies were 7.3%,54.3%,1.2%,3.1%,17.7%,and 6.7%,respectively.And the most common deficiency was that the statistical method did not accord with types of design.The incidence rate fell gradually from 1999 to 2007.Conclusions The incidence rate of statistical deficiencies of original articles published in the journal fell year by year,but it was higher than that of Chinese core medical journals.It is necessary to pay more attention to familiar statistical deficiencies for authors and editors.
