Knowledge Requirements for Medical Interpreters and Exploration on Their Training Mode

随着国内外交流日趋频繁,医学专业口译员成为市场紧缺人才。本文以口译工作的特点和口译员需要的知识结构为着眼点,探讨医学口译员应具备的知识结构和技能,并从课程内容和设置等方面,提出培养合格医学专业口译人才的培训模式及策略,为高等医学院校培养专业口译员提供决策依据。

With ever increasing exchanges between China and other countries,there has been an urgent shortage of professional medical interpreters.Based on the characteristics of interpreting and knowledge requirements for interpreters,this paper elaborates on the basic knowl-edge and skills required for professional medical interpreters,and makes further exploration on the training mode and strategies of cultivating qualified medical interpreters from the perspectives of medical interpreting course contents and designing.
