Dong people, an ethnic minority group dwelling in southeast China, are talented for singing and dancing. The area they dwell in is thus hailed as the"sea of songs"and "natural museum on ethnic culture".
Dong people, an ethnic minority group dwelling in southeast China, are talented for singing and dancing.The area they dwell in is thus hailed as the ＂sea of songs＂ and ＂natural museum on ethnic culture＂. Dong people often sing songs in drum towers in their villages as a way of recreation. The songs they sing, called ＂Grand Songs of Dong People＂ are multi-part folk songs without accompaniment.
