Polyester fiber material was becoming more and more widely applied to asphalt pavement, its use can effectively increase road service performances, and enlong roadway service life, high rate of roadway construction investment＇s return would obtained. This article focused on an analysis of the role of fiber used in overlay surface and its performance, determination of polyester fiber appropriate reforcement materials for asphalt mixes, as well as notice items of admixing polyester fiber to asphalt mixes in construction.
