瞿秋白是"五四"时期中国马克思主义传播史上的主要代表人物之一,也是中国现代知识分子,留下了六百多篇论著和译作。他的这些论著涉及政治思想、新闻、教育、文艺理论和创作等各个方面,给中国现代思想文化的许多方面增添了异彩。国内外许多学者已对他在政治、文艺等方面的成就与不足进行过探讨,可他在哲学方面的贡献还没有引起人们应有的重视,文章对他的哲学思想中的实践观和真理观拟作一些不成熟的探索。

Qu Qiu-bai was one of the representatives in the history of Marxism communications in the May 4th period.As a modern Chinese intellectual,he wrote over 600 works as well as versions concerning political thoughts,news,education,art theory,and creation.Many scholars,home and abroad,have discussed the achievement and shortcomings in terms of politics and art.However,there is lack of attention on his achievement on philosophy so a tentative exploration is done on his idea of practice and truth.
