The article tends to analysis the spatial-temporal metaphor in the way of talking about temporal movement in Chinese with Lakoff and Johnson＇s temporal theory.It mainly discusses QIAN/HOU in QIANTIAN/NIAN and HOUTIAN/NIAN which means BEFORE/AFTER in ＂the day/year BEFORE yesterday/last year＂ and ＂the day/year AFTER tomorrow/next year＂.The future is ahead of human beings and the past lies behind.＂QIANTU＂ does not refer to the time,but it＇s placed in the future.QIAN/HOU in Chinese temporal concept is decided by the temporal motion and sequence.
