崤之战是否应列入《左传》“五大战役”

If the Battle of Xiao Should Be Considered as One of The Five Battles in "Annals of Zuo"

崤之战是春秋时期秦、晋两大国之间进行的一次规模不是很大,但在当时产生过重大影响的战役,在《左传》中有较详细的描写,因此许多《左传》研究的学者将其归入《左传》"五大战役系列",文章认为崤之战因其各方面不具备算作五大战役系列的条件,不可归入五大战役系列。而春秋后期发生的吴、楚柏举之战因其基本符合作为"五大战役"的条件,故可归入其中。

The battle of Xiao happened between Qin and Jin in the epoch of Chunqiu.Although it was not an influential one,there are detailed descriptions in ＂Annals of Zuo＂.Many scholars took it as one of the five great battles in ＂Annals of Zuo＂.However,it is claimed that it should not taken as one from many aspects.The battle between Wu and Chu at the later period of the Spring and Autumn period is more qualified as one of the ＂five battles＂.
