Curriculum is the basic part in education.In modern society,with the development of American higher education,people take the distribution of theoretical curriculum and practical curriculum more and more seriously.Hence,this paper,from the perspective of the relation between theory and practice,and the history of American higher education,analyses how to distribute the theoretical curriculum and practical curriculum best in order to make higher education serving society truly and totally.
